women of conifer community church
CCC Women’s Ministry exists to meet women where they are and help lead them to passionately pursue Christ in every area of their lives. Our goal is to engage with women in every age and stage of life and to connect them to God’s Word and to each other. Whether we are studying the Bible together, serving alongside one another in our community or building friendships in our compass groups this ministry is for every woman in every season of life.

What does a life of faith look like? Faith in Christ is far more than simply believing facts. Real faith in Christ moves us to action. The connection between faith and works lies at the very heart of the letter of James. This short letter is concerned not only with what we as followers of Christ believe but also with how those beliefs shape our actions. Join us as we study the practical wisdom and the challenging call to live out genuine faith as we journey through the book of James. *Childcare may be available upon request for this class. Led by Candi Miller beginning Monday, Sept. 9 |
Tuesdays @ 6:30pm
This study will be a unique overview of both the Old and New Testaments, opening up the Word of God in a fresh and powerful way through understanding the culture, historical background, geography, and the people involved and to better understanding scriptural teaching application to today's world. This book is a wealth of information for the new or seasoned Christian who wants to have a deeper understanding of the history behind scripture. This study is designed for participants to be able to come and go weekly without preparation. As always with Tuesday night, a missed week won't put attendees at a disadvantage to participate in the discussion! Led by Lynn Miller & Lorna Grooms Resumes Tuesday, Sept. 10 |
Thursdays @ 6:30pm
Jesus tells us that He "will give us rest." But what does that look like in a society marked by increasing rates of over-commitment and burnout? Too many of us have built unhealthy cycles of rest, striving and straining against God's intent for our lives. Join us in this study of Finding Soul Rest as we learn to renew and restore our relationship with Christ. Scripture and devotional questions will prompt self-examination helping us to move toward a purposeful and sustainable life with Jesus as we rediscover their identity in rhythm with God. This study is off campus; please contact Laura Harwood at mountaingirl360@hotmail.com for directions and more information. Led by Laura Harwood Begins Thursday, Sept. 12 |
