Communion

​Communion is done in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice for our sin.  We receive bread symbolizing the body of Christ, and we receive grape juice symbolizing the blood of the New Covenant of the grace of Christ.  CCC practices open communion, which simply means that all are welcome to participate no matter their church affiliation as long as they have faith in Jesus Christ as Lord of their life.  We do ask that you prepare your heart for participating by confessing your sins before God, and settling any conflicts you may have with another person so that you receive the elements with a clean conscience understanding the importance of the grace communicated.
